The Angel of Malvern is a landmark hospitality redevelopment within Kokoda Property’s $450 million Malvern Collective precinct. The heritage-listed pub at the corner of Glenferrie and Dandenong roads, a fixture of the neighbourhood since the 1850s has been reimagined by Studio McCue as a three-level dining and entertainment destination with capacity for 1,000 guests.

Forge Studio was engaged by Kokoda Property and Studio McCue to produce a suite of architectural CGI renders that would bring the design intent to life ahead of construction completion. The imagery needed to communicate the distinct character of each level, from the heritage-grounded public bar, to the Mediterranean restaurant, to the moody rooftop cocktail bar—while honouring the building’s rich history and the precision of Studio McCue’s design language.
